Our members provide a professional service to our Principals in dealing with the categories of insurance claims for which we are qualified or are being trained for including motor, machinery breakdown, defective workmanship, and engineering claims.
The I.M.A. have regional offices throughout South Africa i.e. Gauteng, Free State Province, KwaZulu-Natal, Eastern Cape, and Western Cape.

We encourage insurance companies, brokers and claims handling companies to use assessors which are members of the I.M.A. to deal with the claims categories mentioned above and we undertake to provide professional, honest assessments at reasonable rates and a quick return time.

VISION
Our vision is to continually raise the level of professionalism of our members through a process of C.P.E. (Continue Professional Education), workshops etc. and to maintain our standards at International levels. Negotiations are taking place for the I.M.A. to be recognised as a professional body by S.A.I.A.
The I.M.A. has a strict Code of Conduct in place and our members are continually monitored to ensure that they operate within the required parameters.

6. To regulate the exercise of the profession.
7. To represent generally the view of the profession and to promote the common interest of members of the profession.
8. To co-operate, liaise with or make representations to such other authorities, societies, corporate bodies or persons as it may deem fit.
